JDMfotoJuan Daniel Mozo (jdaniel.mozo@diq.uhu.es) has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Physical Chemistry at the University of Huelva (Spain) since 2018. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from the University of Seville (Spain) in 1996 and 1991, respectively. His current research interest includes data processing software, instrumental control software, sensor development, analytical flow methods, and determination of thermodynamic and kinetic parameters. His main interest is to make Open Source Software and Hardware applied to chemical lab .
Eladio EDAfotoDurán Aranda (aranda@uhu.es) received his B.S. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Huelva, Spain, in 1986, his M.S. degree in electronics engineering from the University of Granada, Spain, in 1996, and his Ph.D. degree (honors) from the School of Engineering at the University of Huelva, Spain, in 2009. Since 1992, he has been with the electronic engineering, computers, and automatic department of the University of Huelva, where he is a professor of the electronic technology area. He is currently working on uses of power converters and embedded systems for applications in renewable energy systems and dc microgrids. He is very interested in open source electronics hardware.
JCTfotoJosé Carbajo (jose.carbajo@diq.uhu.es) has been an Full Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Physical Chemistry at the University of Huelva (Spain) since 2018. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from University of Seville (Spain) in 1994 and 1989, respectively. His research interests are electrochemical behaviour of drugs and compounds of environmental interest, electrode processes and sensor development
JLAMfotoJosé Luis Álvarez (alvarez@uhu.es) has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Technologies at the University of Huelva (Spain) since 1995. He received his Computer Science Engineering degree in 1995 and his PhD in Computer Science in 2002 from the University of Seville (Spain). His current research interests include knowledge discovery in data, evolutionary algorithms, and extracting knowledge from the web, as well as open source software and hardware based systems.

Doctoral Students

nofotoJosé Ignacio Otero received his Chemistry degree from the University of Huelva (Spain) in 2012 and his M.S. degree in Higher Education from the University of Huelva (Spain) in 2016. His current research is oriented to the development of flow systems for chemical analysis, using low-cost and open-source technologies. It will design, build and fine tune the automatic injector and an amperometric detector (potentiostat). It will also test its functionality by designing an FIA method to detect any target molecule with pharmaceutical or environmental interest.
