Hello!

bullet  How old are you?

To talk about your age you use the verb "TO BE" (ser,estar). Look at its different forms:

 I am thirteen years old.

You are twelve years old

She is eight years old.

My mother is thirty-five years old.

This is my sister Jane. She is eight years old.

She has got long dark hair. She has got brown eyes. 

She is very funny.  She is at home now.

She likes school.

In English you use the verb "Be" (ser/estar) to talk about you:

 Saxon Genitive: Pay attention to these examples from above:

My brother's name is Paul

This construction is called the "Saxon Genitive" and it also expresses possesion

"The subject of a sentence always comes before the verb"

" Adjectives usually come before a noun.

- I have got a blue car

- She likes horror movies

"Adjectives also come after the verb to be.

- My new book is  black

- That house is big

Let's look at some useful vocabulary. When you describe people you can talk about their physical appearance or their character. Here are some adjectives and you can use to describe a person
