Antonio Luis Hidalgo-Capitán is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Huelva (Spain), where he teaches International Political Economy and Development Political Economy. He has been Visiting Research Fellow at De Montfort University of Leicester (U.K.) and Visiting Professor at the University of Costa Rica, the Central-American University of Nicaragua, the Simón Bolívar Andean University of Ecuador, the Santiago Technological University of Dominican Republic, the University of Guadalajara of Mexico, and teh University of La Habana de Cuba, and he has been International Visiting Specialist at the Latin American Economic System. Also he has been Assistant Director of Santa María de La Rábida Iberian-American Seat at the International University of Andalucía (Spain) and Secretary of the Revista de Economía Mundial. Also he is member of World Economy Society, of Spanish Network of Development Studies, and of Latin-American Alliance of Critical Development Studies.
