Ana Ruiz Osuna (Cordoba, 1980) has a Ph.D in Archeology from the University of Cordoba (2009), where she obtained a degree in History of Art (1998-2002) and gained the FPD e I fellowship (2003-2007). At the same time, she took part in several research projects directed by Professor Desiderio Vaquerizo Gil. She completed her training thanks to two research stays at the Spanish School of History and Archaeology in Rome (CSIC) and was part of the "Laboratory of Archaeology" carried out between the University of Cordoba and the Municipal Urban Development Agency of Cordoba (2008- 2011). Member of the Research Group Sísifo (PAIDI HUM-236) since 2003, she is the author of several monographs and papers on the process of funeral monumentalization in Roman times and has participated in many national and international congresses. She is currently undertaking a postdoctoral position at the University of Cordoba and she is also the coordinator of the scientific culture project "Arqueología somos todos".
