3. Detector simulations
Simulations of the energy, mass and charge resolution have been performed using the code GEANT4, using “realistic” beam quality scenarios predicted for FAIR/LEB. Preliminary results show that a reasonable resolution can be achieve if a good tracking system is implemented.
