Information:
This Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is designed for university faculty members, master’s and PhD students with an interest in natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration and climate change across arctic, boreal, temperate and Mediterranean ecosystems. The programme combines virtual and on-site activities, promoting interdisciplinary learning and dialogue on the role of universities in addressing current environmental challenges and contributing to sustainable natural resource management, ecological restoration and climate change mitigation and adaptation.
The BIP is grounded in Challenge-Based
Research and Education, fostering the creation of international research
networks and synergies between academia, public institutions and local
stakeholders. Through collaborative and co-creative sessions based on
design thinking methodologies, participants will share knowledge,
experiences and perspectives, and work together to explore innovative,
science-based solutions to real-world environmental challenges in a
dynamic and interactive learning environment. The ultimate goal is to
analyse how universities can actively contribute to addressing these
challenges through research, education and societal engagement.
Dates:
The on-site component will take place in Huelva, Spain. This mobility will be organised as an Erasmus+ BIP and therefore, it is mandatory to participate in both the virtual and the on-site components.
