Multi-Harmonic Buncher work package (ESSB)

At ESS Bilbao, as part of the Spanish ISOLDE ISRS Initiative, we have designed, developed, and tested advanced beam instrumentation for the Multi-Harmonic Buncher work package. A key focus has been the development of non-interceptive beam current monitors, including an AC Current Transformer (ACCT, pictured on the left) and a Fast Current Transformer (FCT, on the right). These devices enable precise measurement of beam current without disturbing the beam, ensuring high accuracy and reliability for beam diagnostics.
