Progress on Beam Dynamics studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Main subsystems of the ring, based on beam dynamics studies (UV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the Spanish ISOLDE ISRS project, the work package led by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uv.es\/uvweb\/instituto-ciencia-materiales-icmuv\/es\/instituto-universitario-ciencia-materiales-icmuv-1285918028224.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Valencia<\/a> aims to define the main subsystems of the ring, based on beam dynamics studies. The updated baseline design adopts a racetrack-shaped symmetry and includes 10 MAGDEM-type CCT bending magnets, with realistic dimensions considered for physical integration. Tracking simulations using BMAD demonstrate the ring\u2019s near-isochronicity and its capability to separate multiple heavy ion isotopes, such as Radium, after just 10 turns.
