De hecho al fondo de la imagen se pueden observar dos\u00a0<strong>canoas<\/strong>, utilizadas para conectar esta localidad con la capital onubense. En los momentos representados por la\u00a0<strong>fotograf\u00eda<\/strong>\u00a0era la canoa el principal medio de transporte entre ambas orillas de la r\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>La construcci\u00f3n de la carreta a Punta Umbr\u00eda y la mejora de otros transportes e infraestructuras hicieron que este medio de comunicaci\u00f3n y transporte tan tradicional fuera decayendo.
