Desde los a\u00f1os 40 aproximadamente del siglo XX la familia G\u00f3mez funda \u201cLa Chanca\u201d, una peque\u00f1a tienda convertida desde el 2012 en el actual Museo del At\u00fan, en el cual el visitante puede conocer de primera mano la captura y transformaci\u00f3n de este animal, asistiendo al \u201cRonqueo\u201d o despiece y saboreando al final diferentes sabores \u00fanicos. Toda una apuesta por la gastronom\u00eda.
\n\u201cEl Museo del At\u00fan es un espacio informativo creado por Salazones, Conservas y Ahumados LA CHANCA para dar a conocer al visitante toda la tradici\u00f3n ancestral que existe en toda esta parte de la costa gaditana en torno al mundo del at\u00fan: su captura y posterior transformaci\u00f3n. Y para ello nada mejor que hacer volar nuestros cinco sentidos\u201d.<\/p>\n
