Este monumento se trata de una representaci\u00f3n escult\u00f3rica de una mujer preparando el pescado para posteriormente enlatarlo en la f\u00e1brica. La escultura presenta a una mujer con una cara consumida por la tristeza y el agotamiento debido a que no ha parado de trabajar en un largo periodo de tiempo.<br \/>\nLa postura de esta mujer en la escultura posee una inclinaci\u00f3n de cabeza y hombros con el pie apoyado en un travesa\u00f1o de la mesa. Podemos deducir entonces que no mira al frente porque delante de ella habr\u00eda una pared o incluso la espalda de otra mujer agotada como ella.
