Confeccionado de manera independiente, resulta ser la parte trasera de una fija*, siendo portado generalmente por quienes prefieren hacer uso del francajo*\u00a0 y como \u00fatil auxiliar. As\u00ed pues,\u00a0hecho a partir\u00a0de una cabilla de hierro de aproximadamente un cent\u00edmetro de calibre (existiendo tambi\u00e9n modelos en acero inoxidable), suele tener una longitud sensiblemente inferior a la de la fija completa: oscila entre 40 y 80 cent\u00edmetros, seg\u00fan el gusto personal de su propietario.<\/p>\n
Su cometido, de igual modo, es similar al que tiene la fija*:\u00a0\u00fatil para sacar las\u00a0piezas de sus refugios naturales, en especial los pulpos.<\/p>\n
Se\u00a0usa en el marisqueo a pie practicado,\u00a0como muestra la imagen, en los \u201ccorrales\u201d pesqueros del Golfo de C\u00e1diz.<\/p>\n
