II International Congress of Development Studies
Alternative Perspectives of Development
The Second International Congress of Development Studies is an initiative of the Spanish Network of Development Studies (REEDES) and the Department of Economics of the University of Huelva.
The event will take place on 16th and 17th June 2014 in the Faculty of Business at the University of Huelva. In this international conference we expect to involve about 200 researchers and teachers from different countries dedicated to Development Studies, mostly REEDES members.
The congress will focus on alternative perspectives of development. It is a scientific and academic international meeting with practical projection for teachers, researchers, students and social agents. It aims to provide a forum for debate and discussion around some of the salient issues in Development Studies.
The sessions will be composed of two conferences (opening and closing), two plenary sessions and parallel sessions (organized according to the subjects of submissions).
