Acceptance process

The acceptance for International Students is a 3 step process:

Nomination

The Sending Institution should send an official nomination to drinter02@sc.uhu.es, specifying the contact and academic details of the student. For further information on this process as students, please check with your home International Office.

Your home University should be a UHU partner. If your University is not a partner, please check
Free Movers / Visitors section.

Confirmation of Acceptance

After checking the admissibility criteria, we will send you an information package via email

Pre - Registration

  • Students will have to complete a Pre-Register form in our mobility programme UMove.
  • All documents will be done through UMove (letters of Acceptance, Learning Agreements, etc.).

UMove

UMove is the application designed to manage the mobility of members of the university community with official links to the University of Huelva who decide to carry out a mobility (Students, Teaching Staff and Administration and Services Staff).

Accommodation

Accommodation in Huelva tends to be affordable and easy to find. Read the Accommodation Guide and decide which option better suits your needs and budget. The International Office do not book or manage students´ accomodation, but we can guide and advise students in their search of residence or flat.

Visa and Medical Insurance

Students from outside the EU will need a visa to undergo a mobility programme here in Spain. Please read this information carefully and check with the nearest Spanish Embassy. Students should also hold the European Health Card (for EU students) or private insurance (for non EU students). The validity of the insurance should cover the whole period of the mobility.

WIFI and Moodle

During the Welcome Week you will receive an email with your UHU username and password, as well as your new UHU email address. With your unique credentials you can access WiFi, Moodle and your email.
