Propuestas para una Intervención Compasiva en el Autismo

Resumen

El trastorno del espectro autista (TEA) es una condición neurobiológica caracterizada por dificultades en la comunicación social y comportamientos repetitivos. La prevalencia de comportamientos desafiantes en individuos con TEA resalta la necesidad de intervenciones efectivas y éticas. Este estudio propone el Análisis de Contingencias Sintetizadas Informado por Entrevista (IISCA) y el Tratamiento Basado en Habilidades (SBT) como metodologías para abordar estos comportamientos. El IISCA utiliza entrevistas semiestructuradas para identificar contingencias y se complementa con observaciones directas y análisis funcional. El SBT se centra en el entrenamiento de la comunicación funcional, la tolerancia y la cooperación, promoviendo habilidades adaptativas. La compasión es integrada como una dimensión central en ABA, mejorando la eficacia de las intervenciones y la calidad de vida de las personas con TEA. La participación activa de los individuos y la colaboración con los cuidadores son elementos clave. Este enfoque compasivo minimiza la posibilidad de retraumatización y crea un entorno terapéutico seguro y respetuoso. Los resultados indican que intervenciones personalizadas y centradas en el individuo son esenciales para abordar los comportamientos desafiantes de manera efectiva y ética, destacando la importancia de un enfoque humanizado en la práctica de ABA.
