Before submitting a manuscript to Enlightening Tourism. A Pathmaking Journal, authors must prepare and upload the following three separate files. The separation of these documents is essential to ensure compliance with the journal's double-blind peer review process and editorial requirements.
Title page (Style and presentation rules for the title page)
This file must include the manuscript title, the full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, corresponding author details, abstract and keywords. Where applicable, it must also include acknowledgements, funding information, a conflict of interest statement, and a statement on the use of generative AI or AI-assisted technologies.
Main anonymous manuscript (Style and presentation rules for main anonymous manuscript)
This file is used for the journal's double-blind peer review process and must not contain any information that could directly or indirectly identify the authors. Author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, funding information, conflict of interest statements, self-identifying references, file metadata and any other identifying information must be removed before submission.
Cover letter
Authors must upload a cover letter addressed to the Editors in Chief. The letter should briefly explain the manuscript’s originality, its contribution to pathmaking tourism research, its theoretical, methodological or empirical contribution, its international relevance, and its suitability for publication in Enlightening Tourism. A Pathmaking Journal.
Authors must use the official templates provided below and ensure that all submission files comply with the journal’s formatting, anonymization and ethical requirements before completing the submission process.
