Cristina Rodríguez Hernández was born on May 30, 1980 in Huelva, Spain. She studied Classics, along with Hispanic Philology, at the University of Salamanca. She obtained a diploma in Theory of Literature, and has a post-graduate degree in “Vanguardias y Postvanguardias en la primera mitad del s. XX”. Currently, she teaches Latin in IES Don Bosco (Valverde del Camino, Huelva).

Cristina Rodríguez is responsible for the edition and textual commentary on book XIV for the Research Project of Ovid's Metamorphoses.
