 María Ángeles Rodríguez Madrigal  was born in Seville on August 20, 1967.

During his primary and secondary education she obtained the diploma on Deutsch from the Goethe Institute in Munich: "Mittelstufenprüfung" and "Deutsches Sprachdiplom Kleines." She graduated in Classics at  the University of Seville  in 1991. From then until now, has been working at the German School "Alberto Durero" in Seville, where she teaches, among others, the subjects of Latin and Greek.

After defending his dissertation in 1992 on amatory motifs in Ovid's Metamorphoses, directed by D. Antonio Ramírez de Verger, conducted and completed doctoral courses at the University of Seville. She has also made two research visits in two summers in Germany (Freiburg and Heidelberg).

She has participated in the work of plunder for the preparation of the Dictionary of amatory motifs in Latin literature (Huelva, 2011), and has published several book reviews in various magazines.

She currently works in the comments to the Consolatio ad Liuiam de  morte Drusi.
