La Universidad de Huelva, a través de su Oficina de Transferencia de Conocimiento (OTC)  pone a disposición de la comunidad universitaria un servicio para la gestión y tramitación de los derechos de propiedad industrial e intelectual. Esta oficina, es, por tanto, el interlocutor entre el personal de la comunidad universitaria y la Oficina Española de Patentes y Marcas (O.E.P.M.) para las solicitudes de protección de la propiedad industrial (patentes, marcas, diseños industriales, etc.); o el Registro de la Propiedad Intelectual para el registro de Programas de Ordenador, Bases de Datos, etc.

The University of Huelva, through its Knowledge Transfer Office (OTC in Spanish) provides the university community with a service for the management and processing of the industrial and intellectual property rights. This office is, therefore, the intermediary between the university staff and the Spanish Office of Patents and Brands (O.E.P.M.) for applications of industrial property protection (patents, brands, industrial designs, etc.), or the Intellectual Property Registry for the registration of Computer Programmes, Databases, etc.
