Resumen

La Educación para la Salud es una problemática sociosanitaria mundial que se preocupa por reconocer la incidencia que tienen los factores ambientales y demográficos, así como económicos, genéticos, biológicos y formativos en todas las personas. El objetivo del presente estudio fue realizar un estudio teórico sobre la evolución de los factores educativos, recomendaciones y aplicaciones profesionales de la Educación para la Salud. Para ello, la metodología de investigación empleada fue mediante el paradigma fenomenológico, de corte histórico hermenéutico y de tipo interpretativo, con la finalidad de analizar las diferentes categorías. Los resultados muestran que los conceptos más relevantes del estudio de la Educación para la Salud están asociados a “Health”, “Covid-19”, “Risk” y “Depression”. Los países con mayor número de estudios publicados son Estados Unidos y China. Además, las investigaciones revelan como la ciencia social es el mayor catalizador en el desarrollo de competencias y actitudes asociados a desarrollar estilos y hábitos de vida saludables. Por ello, es necesario que, en la etapa escolar, adolescente y la adultez, la educación trascienda las fronteras formales de las instituciones con el objetivo de desarrollar planes de acción y programas para promocionar y preservar la salud de toda la sociedad. De esta manera, es necesario estimular una vida activa dirigida a alcanzar un bienestar físico y mental. Igualmente, el presente estudio aporta una reflexión sobre la trascendencia que tiene la salud como eje dinamizador de la sociedad actual.
