Travel information

Matalascañas via Seville:

Seville is the main city in the vicinity of Matalascañas and one of the most important Spanish ones (the fourth by population). Seville can be easily reached

  • by plane, either directly or via Madrid or Barcelona
  • by train from Madrid (the trip takes 2.5 hours; check here the timetables from RENFE).

    • Matalascañas is about 90 kms away from Seville. There are several buses a day from Sevilla (Plaza de Armas bus station) to Matalascañas (check here the timetables).

    In the case of enough demand, the organization will arrange a bus trip from Sevilla to Matalascañas Sunday, September 30th, late in the afternoon. The bus can make two stops to collect people on the airport and on the railway station (Santa Justa).

    Matalascañas via Faro-Huelva:

    Huelva can be also reached from the international airport of Faro (Portugal) by regular buses. In this link you can check all the airlines flying to Faro (there are several low-cost ones). A transfer service from the airport to Matalascañas is also available by 30 euros.
