Introduction: DINEX reaction chamber

Part of our research activity is performed locally at the 3 MV Tandem facility at CNA (Sevilla, Spain), as well as a number of other european laboratories. Recent experiments were performed at the Cyclotron Research Center (Louvain la Neuve, Belgium), and we have a number of proposals to be carried out at the REX-ISOLDE facility (CERN, Geneva) , and at SPIRAL (GANIL, Caen).

The figure on the right shows the DINEX reaction chamber at Centro Nacional de Aceleradores (CNA), in Sevilla (Spain).

The DINEX project was originally a collaboration project between the nuclear physics research groups of the University of Seville, the University of Huelva and the Instituto de Estructura de la Materia (CSIC, Madrid). Lidership of the project is headed at present by the GEM research group at the University of Huelva, and partially financed under projects FPA2000-1592-C03-02 and FPA2003-05958 from the Plan de Altas Energías of Ministerio de Ciencia yTecnología (Spain). Present researc work is carried out in collaboration with nuclear physics groups of different institutions:
