Ryszard Lobinski, New Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Huelva
The University of Huelva has today awarded the prestigious title of Doctor Honoris Causa to the renowned scientist Dr. Ryszard Lobinski. A global expert in Analytical Chemistry, Lobinski serves as the director of the Institute of Analytical Chemistry in Pau (France).
The ceremony took place in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Experimental Sciences on the El Carmen Campus. This honor was granted at the request of the University of Huelva’s Research Center for Natural Resources, Health, and Environment (RENSMA), in recognition of Lobinski’s outstanding career and his valuable contributions to the field of Analytical Chemistry.
During the event, Lobinski expressed his deep gratitude for the recognition and highlighted the University of Huelva’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation. He also thanked Professor José Luis Gómez Ariza for his efforts in positioning the University of Huelva as an international benchmark in environmental chemistry.
The rector of the University of Huelva, María Antonia Peña, emphasized the significance of Chemistry within the institution and praised Lobinski’s work, which has had a substantial impact on various fields, including biomedicine, the environment, and health.
José Luis Gómez Ariza, who served as Lobinski’s sponsor, described him as a scientist not only dedicated to research but also deeply committed to advancing the scientific community.
